DESCRIPTION

If you go to Machu Picchu, without visiting the best places in the Sacred Valley, you will be missing the opportunity to know half of the legacy that the Incas complained in history. Machu Picchu is the jewel of the Inca empire, hidden among the mountains, and the only way to reach it, was to walk a path through the Sacred Valley.

In this 2 days and 1 night tour you will have the opportunity to visit several places that the Sacred Valley of the Incas offers, these places provide a glimpse into the past of the greatness that was the Inca civilization.

STARTING POINT

Pick up from your hotel at the coordinated time (if the hotel is near the main square of Cusco), otherwise we will coordinate a meeting point.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Start: 8:30 am

We travel from Cusco, passing Saqsaywaman through the mountains to the Sacred Valley. We descend 1500 feet to the valley floor, where we find ourselves next to the sacred Urubamba River and the town of Pisac. In Pisac, we stop to visit a traditional market, where you can explore and buy some local souvenirs if you wish.
Then, we drive to the archaeological center of Pisac. Here, we explore the beautiful site while enjoying breathtaking views over the valley. You will be given a guided tour of the Citadel of Pisac, where we will see temples, houses, altars, sculptures, tunnels, caves and the famous Intihuatana, “The Hitching Post of the Sun”. We have about 90 minutes to explore the place.
For those who prefer to spend more time in the market rather than visiting the archaeological center, let your guide know so that he can arrange a time and place to pick you up when you return through the market.
We continue on to Urubamba, where we stop for lunch.
A 30 minute drive takes us to Ollantaytambo, which is surrounded by the sacred mountains. In Ollantaytambo, we have a greater exposure to the Inca constructions, mainly the incredible temple of the sun, huge blocks of perfectly carved and polished rock, stone water fountains, stairways and terraces. We can also see the beauty of the local people in their traditional dress surrounded by the sacred mountains and the valley of Patacancha and Willoq.
At the end of the explanation in the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo the guide or the transfer will show you the way to the Ollantaytambo train station where you will board the train. This train will take you to Machupicchu Pueblo also known as Aguas Calientes, arriving at the station of that place the transfer from your hotel either you booked the hotel on your own or with us, would be waiting to take you to your installation. Previously you will be told the time when your guide will visit you at your hotel so that you can coordinate your guided tour the next day. Overnight at selected hotel in Machupicchu town.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour

According to the time coordinated with your guide will pick you up at your hotel or coordinate a meeting point, to go up by bus to Machu Picchu and have your guided tour of approx. 2 hours and a half. And then go down by bus to Aguas Calientes.
In the afternoon or evening you will return, it will depend on the return train. The train will leave Aguas Calientes to the train station of Ollantaytambo or Poroy, there the transfer will be waiting for you and will take you to your hotel.
End of the excursion.

Notes

The service provided is in shared mode with all the biosecurity measures (with more passengers in the group).
The guide in Machupicchu will be in small groups.
If you want the lodging service ask the operator which will have an extra cost depending on the category.
If you want a private service ask the operator which will have an extra cost.
If you wish to purchase the tickets to Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu mountain before your arrival just let the tour operator know three to four months in advance because they are in high demand and adding the cost of the tickets already mentioned.
The tours and walks carried out by this Operator have a low level of risk and difficulty and provide the necessary security.
Any material loss or accident is under the responsibility of the client.
Service is subject to variation without previous notice, due to weather conditions (rains, floods, floods, etc.), strikes and/or demonstrations and any other event that does not allow the normal development of the itinerary, and does not apply refund.
Any cancellation of the service for the reasons indicated above does not apply a refund.

RESPONSIBILITY AND OBLIGATIONS

Machu Picchu Tour Services S.A.C. is an agency that operates its tours directly and also hires the services of other operating companies according to the type of service requested by the client, to ensure the best possible service. These service providers are independent of the company and have been previously approved, the company has no direct control over them.
The payment of the reservation of our tours implies acceptance of the terms and conditions detailed and covers our services and all participants in them.
The company will provide the passenger with all tickets and/or booking confirmations through the passenger’s e-mail address provided in the booking form.
The services provided through the company’s system are intangible, therefore if the passengers for any reason do not take the services on the scheduled date and time, they will be responsible for the total cost of these.
Situations beyond our control that cause the operation of our tours to not develop normally due to strikes, protests, political movements, in case of declaration of a state of emergency, border closures, accidents, flight cancellations, weather conditions, or any other public act beyond the control of the company, which could not be foreseen, possible solutions will be suggested to try to operate the scheduled program, however customers accept and acknowledge that the company has no responsibility for the non-provision of the services offered. Likewise, in these cases, the value of the contracted service will not be refundable.

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING AND REFUND POLICIES

The company is not responsible for cancellations made by the client 45 days or less before the start date of the contracted service, which will be penalized with 100% per passenger.
Failure to appear on the day and at the time indicated for the provision of the contracted service has a penalty of 100%.
If the client does not pay the total balance of the trip within the agreed time, there is no refund of 50% of the deposit paid for administrative expenses per passenger.
For any cancellation, by the client, between 70 and 45 days before the start date of the contracted service will be penalized with 50% of the value of the program per passenger.
For any cancellation, by the client, between 90 and 70 days before the start date of the contracted service, a penalty of US $ 25 will be applied for administrative expenses per passenger.
For any rescheduling, by the client, 45 days or less before the start date of the contracted service, the request will be accepted as long as the client has no outstanding balances to pay, and there is no fare difference for the new rescheduling date.
The clients accept that Machu Picchu Tour Services S.A.C. has no responsibility for the non-provision of the services offered in case of adverse weather conditions or natural disasters that cannot be foreseen. Likewise, it recognizes that there will be no responsibility in case of political movements, accidents, declaration of state of emergency, border closures, strikes or any other public act beyond the control of Machu Picchu Tour Services S.A.C. that could not be foreseen. In these cases, the value of the contracted service will not be refundable.
Refunds will only be effective when the client requests it more than 90 days before the start date of the contracted service or when the company is unable to provide the contracted service, in the latter case, the company will not pay more than 100% of the amount paid by the client. Refunds will be provided in a period of no less than 30 working days and no more than 120 working days, discounting transaction costs, if any.
In the event that the passenger does not decide to complete any of the contracted services, the difference will not be refundable.
