DESCRIPTION

This is a fantastic half-day tour to explore part of the Sacred Valley. You will see breathtaking views of the Urubamba mountain ranges, the Veronica Mountain and the green valleys of the countryside. You will learn about agriculture, textiles and the history of the Incas. You will visit Moray, the ancient Inca agricultural laboratory, a site that shows us the important technological progress of the Incas who managed, thanks to their systems of terraces, the adaptation of different plants to new ecosystems. Walk with the group on the road to the Maras salt mines that produce up to 2000 tons of salt annually, thanks to the 3000 salt wells that are in the territory and are managed by 320 families of Maras.
