Live an unforgettable experience with a 4 km hike to the majestic 7 Colors Mountain, known as Vinicunca, located in the district of Pitumarca, province of Canchis, in the Cusco region. This impressive natural destination, famous for its vibrant hues, is one of Peru’s most emblematic landscapes.
The mountain is part of the imposing Ausangate, the fifth highest peak in the country at 6,384 meters above sea level, considered in the Andean cosmovision as the “Apu” or protective spirit. Ausangate has been revered for centuries as the guardian of the Andean people. From the Vinicunca viewpoint, you can admire not only the unique colors of the mountain (a result of the mineral composition of the terrain) but also spectacular views of the glaciers, the open sky and the high Andean landscapes that surround this sacred place.
