The Sacred Valley was one of the most significant regions of the Inca Empire. Its favorable climate allowed the development of a prosperous agriculture and the construction of key cities, such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo, which we will explore during this fascinating tour of the Valley.
This tour to the Sacred Valley promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience, where you will have the opportunity to discover some of the most impressive archaeological sites of the Inca legacy.
This tour will take us to explore the impressive Citadel of Pisac, where we will discover temples, dwellings, ceremonial altars and the mysterious Intihuatana. In addition, we will visit the local Pisac market before continuing on to Urubamba for a buffet lunch.
In Ollantaytambo, we will explore the Inca architecture, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, its agricultural terraces and water fountains, and we will also see local life and the colorful traditional costumes of the inhabitants. Finally, we will visit the church and archaeological site in Chincheros before returning to Cusco.
Pick up from your hotel 07:20 am (if the hotel is near the main square of Cusco, otherwise we will coordinate a meeting point).
On this tour, we will have the opportunity to explore an impressive site while delighting in panoramic views that encompass the entire Sacred Valley. The guided tour will take us through the majestic Citadel of Pisac, where we will enter a complex of temples, dwellings, ceremonial altars, and an ancestral cemetery. One of the highlights will be the Intihuatana, which means “Where the Sun is Moored”, a monument full of symbolism and mystery.
In Pisac, we will pass by a traditional market, where you can explore and buy some local souvenirs if you wish.
We continue on to Urubamba, where we stop for a buffet lunch, an exceptional gastronomic experience.

On our return, we make a visit to the famous church and archaeological site in Chincheros, then return to Cusco.
