Join us on a fascinating tour full of charm and mystery, where we will explore the secrets of our Inca past. Visit the only Inca temple dedicated to the supreme god Wiracocha in the archaeological complex of Raqchi, the historic colonial church of Andahuaylillas, the impressive temples and constructions of the archaeological center of Pikillacta and the amazing hydraulic wonder of Tipon.
We will start the tour towards the archaeological center of Raqchi, where we will find a temple dedicated to Wiracocha. After enjoying a delicious buffet lunch, we will head to the picturesque village of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit its impressive chapel. Then, we will explore the archaeological center of Pikillacta where we will learn about its relevance in pre-Inca times. Finally, we will visit the archaeological park of Tipon, where we will discover its historical importance, after the visit we will return to Cusco.
Pick up from your hotel 7:00 am – 7:15 am (if the hotel is near the main square of Cusco, otherwise we will coordinate a meeting point).
We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and begin a 2.5 hour trip to the archaeological site of Raqchi.
Upon arrival, we will start the guided tour of the most important sectors of the site, such as the temple dedicated to Wiracocha and the colcas, accompanied by an expert guide who will explain the history and significance of each place.
After the visit, we will go on a 30-minute transfer to a restaurant, where you can enjoy a selection of typical dishes of our gastronomy. The buffet lunch will last approximately 45 minutes.
We will take a tour of approximately one hour to reach the picturesque village of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit its impressive chapel.
Then we will visit the archaeological center of Pikillacta, where we will enjoy a guided tour that will allow us to learn about its history and its relevance in the pre-Inca period.
Next, we will head to the archaeological park of Tipon, a fascinating place where we will discover its importance and functions, followed by free time to explore at our own pace.
Afterwards, we will return to the city of Cusco.
