Early in the morning you will be transferred from your hotel to the train station. We will board the train to Kilometer 104, the starting point of the short Inca Trail (journey time: approx. 3 hours).

Upon arrival, we will be met by our guide, with whom we will begin the hike visiting the archaeological complex of Chachabamba, an ancient Inca checkpoint.

We will continue along the trail, crossing a small and refreshing waterfall, until we reach the impressive ruins of Wiñay Wayna, one of the most beautiful sites on the Inca Trail, known for its agricultural terraces and impeccable Inca architecture.

We will enjoy a box lunch in the middle of a spectacular natural environment, ideal for recharging energy. We resume our hike towards Inti Punku (the “Sun Gate”), from where we will have an unforgettable panoramic view of Machu Picchu at sunset, a magical and inspiring experience.

Finally, we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will stay at the hotel and rest for the next day’s visit.
