Qoricancha is the second site you will visit, it was the most important temple at the time of the Incas. The convent was built over the spectacular Qoricancha or golden enclosure, dedicated to the cult of the sun, whose walls were covered with gold leaf. This convent was built using as a base finely polished and worked rock structures of the Inca empire.
