Then, let yourself be amazed by the Huaypo Lagoon, located at 3,507 meters above sea level and only 50 km from the city of Cusco, surrounded by mountains and pure nature. A unique experience that combines culture, landscapes and adrenaline.
We start with the pick up from your hotel and go by transport for 50 minutes to Cruzpata, where we make a brief practice with the ATVs. Once ready, we begin the trip to the Huaypo Lagoon, with an approximate driving time of 2 hours (round trip).
Then, we continue by transport to the salt mines of Maras, avoiding the descent by ATV for safety reasons. On the way, we enjoy beautiful Andean landscapes and views of the Veronica and Chicon snow-capped peaks.
We end the tour returning to the city of Cusco, after an experience full of adventure and nature.
Pick up from your hotel (if the hotel is near the main square of Cusco), otherwise we will coordinate a meeting point.
We start the tour by picking you up from your hotel, and then we will travel by private transportation for approximately 50 minutes to the town of Cruzpata. There we will practice for 15 minutes with the ATVs, where the guide will make sure that all participants feel safe and ready before starting the adventure.
Once confirmed, we will depart by ATV to the Huaypo Lagoon, a beautiful driving route that lasts approximately 2 hours (round trip). This option is offered as an alternative when passengers prefer not to visit the archaeological site of Moray.
At the end of the ATV tour, we return to Cruzpata and continue by transport to the impressive salt mines of Maras. For safety reasons, this section is done by vehicle due to the difficulty and danger of the road, especially in the area of descent to the salt pampas.
During the trip and at the stops, we will enjoy spectacular views of the Verónica and Chicón snow-capped peaks, as well as the natural beauty of the surroundings and the contact with local people. Finally, we return to the city of Cusco, concluding this unforgettable experience.
